Belleza al dia podcast

When I first started podcasting, I had no idea where to find guests.

I thought prospects would turn me down in a heartbeat until I looked a little more legit.

But I knew I wanted to run an interview-style podcast, and I’ve always been a hard worker. So I decided I was just going to go for it.

I’d put in a little hustle, do my research, and see what worked.

After fine-tuning my pitch and doing extensive guest research, I went from getting ghosted to hearing almost all "yesses!"

And it wasn’t because my resume changed. It was all because I learned how to position myself and my podcast as the right opportunity to the right people.

3 years, 100 episodes, and 100,000+ downloads later, I've learned so much about podcast interviews.

Not only have I interviewed dozens of guests – including podcasters and online business owners with audiences 10-50x my size – but I’ve also been a podcast guest myself. So I’ve learned that there’s so much more that goes on behind-the-scenes that listeners never see. You have to think about…

Finding guests

There are so many people who could be a great guest for your show. So how do you decide who to pitch, and how can you maximize the odds that they'll say yes?

Learning how to interview

Interviewing someone else is much different than having a regular conversion. If you go into it blind, you'll miss a ton of amazing value and expertise that your guest could've brought to your audience.

Growing your audience

Helping your guest share their episode is a great strategy to build your podcast audience. But you have to lead the way and tell them exactly what to do.

None of these skills are intuitive. But the good news is that they're all easily taught!

I knew I was on to something good when my guests regularly complimented my interview process. And that’s when I realized I needed to teach others how they could be amazing interview hosts, too!

FAQs

Interviewing guests within your network is a great first place to start. But even if you don’t have anyone in mind, you don’t need pre-existing connections to book high-quality podcast guests. All you need is a strong pitch and the right approach, and soon you’ll feel comfortable – and confident! – cold pitching prospective guests.

That said, this course won’t help you book Michelle Obama or any huge name celebs. What it can do is help you connect with guests who make sense for your podcast at your current stage. (You can probably book bigger guests than you think, I just want to set realistic expectations.)

Realistically, not everyone will say yes. And that’s not a reflection on you or your podcast. It’s usually about their time, how busy they are, and if they agree that your audiences align. (I still get no’s, too.)

So in the course, we’ll make sure you’re pitching enough people to keep a steady pipeline of interviews confirmed and recorded. If you know who to pitch, and you know how to pitch, that will make a huge difference.

This was one of my biggest fears when I started podcasting a few years ago. But I was pleasantly surprised that people were happy to be my earliest guests! They were thrilled and flattered I’d asked them to be featured, plus they knew that my earliest episodes would actually get a lot of promotion during my launch. Then once I had a few episodes released, I was able to share those as proof in my new pitch.

So it’s not as big of a deal as it seems to be brand new (phew), and this course is a great fit if you haven’t launched yet, or if you’re just getting started.

Well…probably not. At least not at first. In the course, we talk about knowing who will say yes to your podcast, and a big part of that self-awareness is pitching large guests, but maybe not gigantic Michelle Obama level guests. You have to work your way up in size.

That said, you can probably pitch guests slightly larger than you might think! I’ll show you how.

Absolutely not. In this course, we’ll talk about why joining your podcast is actually a huge benefit to any guest, so paying them isn’t necessary. (Nor should it be expected.)

That’s a great idea! This course is specifically for podcasters looking for guests – not the other way around – but I do have a directory for my 200+ students in this program to collaborate and do interview swaps with each other.

So the skills and connections will help you become a guest, but the curriculum is geared toward podcast hosts. (I wouldn’t recommend it if you only want to be a guest, not a host or podcast producer.)

I’ve had students start podcasts on everything from witchcraft to leadership to traveling performers, so I know that these foundational strategies can work for anyone.

You’ll have lifetime access to this course, including any future updates made to the curriculum. So there’s no rush to work through it quickly; you can take your time and come back to the material as needed.

Within the course, you can submit support tickets anytime. I’ll do my best to respond within 2 business days (usually sooner).

Yes, we do. If you are unsatisfied with this program, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we will issue you a refund.
